Michigan Center for the Book
- What is the Center for the Book?
The Michigan Center for the Book is the Michigan affiliate of the National Center for the Book at the Library of Congress. Our mission is to promote an awareness of books, reading, literacy, authors and Michigan's rich literary heritage. The Center draws from the Library of Michigan and its affiliate institutions to encourage and produce local and statewide programs and resources that promote the culture of books. Affiliates join to invest in local and statewide library services. See what our affiliates think about membership and "How is the Center for the Book organized?" for an application, bylaws, roles and board members or contact Janice Murphy at email@example.com or 517-335-1457 for more information.
