A database developed in collaboration with the Michigan Association of Media in Education. The database lists authors who live in Michigan, were born in Michigan or works that are set in Michigan. The entries include book lists, awards, biographical information, book covers and availability for programs.
The Michigan Center for the Book is the Michigan affiliate of the National Center for the Book at the Library of Congress. Its mission is to promote an awareness of books, reading, literacy, authors and Michigan's rich literary heritage.
