Ready to Read Michigan
The Library of Michigan’s Ready to Read Michigan program is designed to support public library staff as they model early literacy skill development directly to families and caregivers with young children (ages birth to 5). The Ready to Read Michigan program supports public libraries as they engage in outreach to families and caregivers, as well as early childhood centers, schools, and daycares in their community.
Summer Reading Program
The Library of Michigan works with the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) to empower public libraries to foster community and a love of reading throughout the summer with children, teens and families in their community. This program is an inclusive, literacy based one for all ages that includes reproducible materials, a variety of online resources, and a unified theme, including artwork.
NASA @ My Library
Designed to increase and enhance STEM learning opportunities for library patrons throughout the state, NASA @ My Library is open to all public libraries in Michigan. Make connections with experts, access resources and materials, and check-out programming kits thanks to the Library of Michigan’s partnership with participating sponsors.
