Dickinson

Dickinson County is the “youngest” of Michigan’s 83 counties, having been organized by Public Act 89 of 1891 from parts of Marquette, Menominee, and Iron Counties. It was named for Donald M. Dickinson, who was Postmaster General under President Grover Cleveland.
