E4509 Unable to upload- the file you are attempting to upload is improperly formatted. Invalid Headers in file. Please download a new copy and do not modify the column headings when making updates.
E4510 The county code must be one of the 83 counties in Michigan.
E4511 You have an entry that is a duplicate. Each row in the Excel file should only have one(1) parcel listed.
E4512 Parcel number must be populated.
E4513 A parcel correction can only be populated if the parcel is a prevoulsy existing parcel.

S3090 The file you are trying to upload is too small to include a wage record or is empty.
S3100 The file you are trying to upload has an invalid file extension. Documents in other formats may be re-saved in acceptably formatted (.pdf, .jpg, .jpeg, .tiff, .tif ) files only and then uploaded.
S3110 The file size you are trying to upload is too large. The system is unable to upload a single file larger than 10MB. Try reducing the size by splitting data into multiple files. You can save and upload multiple files.
S3120 The system is unable to upload the file. The system's security is compromised due to a virus/malware that has been identified in the file.

Troubleshooting MTO Error Messages

If you repeatedly receive an MTO error message, complete all of the following steps. Be sure to reattempt your MTO transaction after each step:

  • Verify you are using an MTO supported web browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari
  • Log out of the MTO session and exit the browser completely
  • Shutdown computer and restart
  • Clear browser cache
  • Switch web browsers and/or computers if possible
