Access Individual Debt Services
The Individual Debt Service portal allows the person(s) liable for the debt to access collections account information and perform certain tasks. To use the Individual Debt portal, you must provide:
- information about the collections account. This information can be found on any collections letter sent by Treasury, and
- your social security number.
The Individual Debt portal allows you to:
- view collection information including balances, assessments, payment history, Treasury-issued correspondence, and power of attorneys on file.
- make a payment,
- request an installment agreement,
- ask Treasury Collections a question, and
- submit a Power of Attorney (Form 151) to Collections.
View Collection Information
This tutorial examines the process to view your collections account information as an Individual Debt Services user of the Collections eService. You can view amount due and payment history, view assessment information, view installment agreement details, and view collection correspondence sent by Treasury.
Make a Payment
This tutorial examines the process to make an electronic collections payment as an Individual Debt Services user of the Collections eService. These payments are set to process on the day they are initiated and cannot be cancelled or modified.
Request an Installment Agreement
This tutorial examines the process to request an installment agreement on your collections account as an Individual Debt Services user of the Collections eService.
Ask Collections a Question
This tutorial examines the process to send an electronic inquiry to Treasury Collections and receive a response as an Individual Debt Services user of the Collections eService. You can ask questions about your collection account using General Inquiries or you can ask about offer in compromise.
