Refund and Attendance Policy for Library of Michigan Workshops

The Library of Michigan’s refund policy is as follows:

  • 100% refunds will be available to registrants up to 7 business days prior to an event under usual circumstances. In the event that catering or other considerations require a different time period, this will be spelled out with the registration information in the event's registration page, the Library of Michigan’s online registration system.  
  • In the event of extenuating circumstances such as a medical emergency where sufficient funds make it possible to issue a refund after the established deadline, a contact person for the event will be listed so that registrants have a person to contact about their situation. Should funds for the event already be encumbered, a refund may not be possible. No refunds after the stated refund date are guaranteed.
  • In the event you need to cancel your registration for an event, it is required you submit your request for cancellation in writing. You can do this by sending an email to wartellaB@michigan.gov.
