The Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA) requires that employers provide employees with the ability to earn paid sick leave. The act required compliance by most employers in early 2025. Employers with 10 or fewer employees have been given until October 1, 2025 to comply. Mike Blum from Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith will provide information aimed at public libraries with 10 or fewer employees that have not yet implemented a compliant paid leave policy/program.

Participants in this webinar will be able to:

  • Determine what paid leave benefits they are required to offer
  • Discover the dos and don'ts of paid leave programs under the new law
  • Discover tip for preparing policies and processes for implementing a compliant paid leave program
