Let's celebrate the ways EBSCO resources support the classroom and our growing community of homeschoolers. We'll review the abundance of EBSCO databases and interfaces that complement traditional classroom and homeschool curricula including EBSCOhost and the K12-focused Explora interface and EBSCO's essential databases including Primary Search, Middle Search Plus, MAS Complete, and Academic Search Complete. We will cover basic and advanced search strategies and review custom tools and functionality like citation tools, Lexile limiters, text-to-speech, language translation, cloud integrations, and personal accounts to organize student research.

Learning Outcomes

  • Review electronic resources available through Michigan's eLibrary (MeL)
  • Understand how to use the tools and features available
  • Identify ways in which MeL resources can be most beneficial in your work with patrons

This project is made possible by grant funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) administered by the State of Michigan through the Library of Michigan.
