Library Social Media Marketing Trends
Social media changes constantly, and for library marketers, it can feel impossible to keep up. Platforms evolve, algorithms shift, engagement patterns change, and every week there seems to be a new “must-do” trend. We’ll talk about current social media trends, changing audience behavior, video content, accessibility, and sustainable content strategies for library teams with limited time and resources.
By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Identify social media trends that are most relevant to libraries
- Evaluate platforms, content styles, and trends based on their library’s goals and audience
- Build more sustainable social media workflows and content strategies
This project is made possible by grant funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) administered by the State of Michigan through the Library of Michigan.
