Using Play to Increase Staff Engagement

In this session, we'll examine how experiential and interactive learning strategies can enhance staff development. This session introduces practical approaches for making training more engaging, participatory, and memorable.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Explain how play and experiential learning support engagement, retention, and participation in adult learning.
• Identify interactive activities that can be incorporated into staff meetings, training sessions, or team development.
• Adapt at least one play-based learning strategy for use within their own library or organization.
