The Michigan Department of Treasury has been made aware that some "Reminder of Tax Due" letters sent to taxpayers contain an incorrect toll-free (1-800) TTY number, which may connect callers to a potential scam. Taxpayers with questions regarding unpaid individual income taxes are asked to contact the Treasury directly at 517-636-4486. We apologize for any confusion or concern this may have caused.

| RDC11050 | Invalid FEIN entered in the Validate Taxpayer Details screen. |
| RDC20000 | Error occurred while retrieving FEIN from session. FEIN is null or empty in the session. |

Troubleshooting MTO Error Messages
If you repeatedly receive an MTO error message, complete all of the following steps. Be sure to reattempt your MTO transaction after each step:
- Verify you are using an MTO supported web browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari
- Log out of the MTO session and exit the browser completely
- Shutdown computer and restart
- Clear browser cache
- Switch web browsers and/or computers if possible
