Step by Step Guide for Logging In Using Your Existing Profile
Sign in from the MiTreasury eServices - Citizen Portal
From the MiTreasury eServices - Citizen Portal landing page, use the Sign in with MiLogin Citizen button.
Enter your user credentials
On the Welcome to MiLogin page:
- Enter your User ID and Password.
- Review the MiLogin terms and conditions and check the I Agree box.
- Use the Log In button to continue.
Acknowledge connection to MiTreasury eServices – Citizen Portal
Review and agree to the Michigan Treasury eServices Terms and Conditions.
Use the Launch Service button to continue.
Choose a Multifactor Authentication (MFA) method
Based on your available profile information, you will be prompted to choose a method to complete your MiLogin for Citizen profile multifactor authentication.
Multifactor authentication (MFA) is a security protocol that requires two or more verification methods, or factors, before allowing you to log in. This adds layers of security beyond just a password to prevent unauthorized entry, even if your password is stolen. MFA is required each day you access your account.
Enter your MFA passcode
Retrieve your unique code from the option you chose and enter it into the passcode field.
Use the Confirm Passcode button to continue.
Successfully logged in
Congratulations! You have arrived on the MiTreasury eServices – Citizen dashboard!
A few tips:
- On the Summary page, you can file your Individual Income Tax return and Home Heating Credit claim.
- On the More page, you can view and send messages to Treasury.
- On any page, you have access to update your MiLogin for Citizen profile by clicking Manage My Profile.
