Join us for a tour of Explora, EBSCO's engaging interface designed to support student research and classroom instruction with rich, reliable content and easy-to-use functionality. We will browse the mobile-friendly, accessible interface and conduct basic and advanced searches to discover articles, eBooks, and primary source documents available in EBSCO's age-appropriate educational databases including Primary Search, Middle Search Plus, MAS Complete and Academic Search Complete. We will review important functionality like Lexile limiters, the citation tool, text-to-speech, language translation, cloud integrations, and COPPA-compliant accounts to organize student research.

Learning Outcomes

  • Review electronic resources available through Michigan's eLibrary (MeL)
  • Understand how to use the tools and features available
  • Identify ways in which MeL resources can be most beneficial in your work with patrons

This project is made possible by grant funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) administered by the State of Michigan through the Library of Michigan.
