Contracting 101 Macomb Regional and Schoolcraft College APEX
Virtual.
From the event organizer.
Join the State of Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) to learn the basics of how to bid on State of Michigan projects. This event is a great opportunity to learn from – and ask questions to – experts on how the State’s contracting process works.
Representatives will also review the State’s Geographically Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (GDBE) initiative. The State wants to expand business opportunities in underutilized business areas and low-income communities; speakers will cover how this program could benefit your business. Reps will also talk about how the Michigan Supplier Community (MiSC) program can increase opportunities for Michigan-based small businesses.
No fee to attend, but registration is required.
The APEX Accelerator provides assistance to businesses in marketing products and services to federal, state, and local government agencies. Schoolcraft College in Livonia has sponsored the local program since 1985 and is the link between the government, prime contractors, and businesses.
The APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense. Additionally, the Schoolcraft College APEX Accelerator is funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and Schoolcraft College.
