Data Center and Telecommunications Switch Room Power, Cooling, Environmental Monitoring and Management
Overview: Contracts for the purchase, maintenance and support of large data center and telecommunications switch room Power, Cooling, Environmental Monitoring and Management (PCMM) technologies. The contracts allow for hardware, software and firmware upgrades that may become available as the technology and controls evolve. Additionally, the contract will account for acquiring new equipment throughout the life of the contract to permit evolving energy efficient technologies to be incorporated into the environment. It will also account for the provisioning of additional services and products as needed.
The contracts include the following scope:
- Module 1: Acquisition and installation of new equipment and software for power and environmental monitoring in hosting centers and switch rooms
- Module 2: Acquisition and installation of new equipment for HVAC in hosting centers and switch rooms
- Documentation for equipment and software
- Reporting for ongoing contract activities
- Warranty for any products purchased through the contract
