Block Boundary Suggestion Program

Block Boundary Suggestion Program (BBSP)

Michigan Participation

General Information:

The BBSP gives states the opportunity to identify non-standard features, which are often used for electoral boundaries, by flagging lines or linear boundaries to be kept or removed within the 2030 Census Block Boundaries.

Of special note to our partners in this effort:

  • Please do not submit your projects to the Census. Let us know when you have finished your review, the State will then submit all projects at the end of May.
  • Partners are limited to one editor per county. However, if you want to have a second reviewer, let us know and we can give them access with read only permission.
  • Please have your review completed by May 22, so that we have time to review and submit the projects.
