In-person state surplus sale scheduled for March 6 is canceled

LANSING, Mich. -- The Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget is canceling an in-person state surplus sale scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon Friday, March 6, due to a technical issue impacting its point-of-sale system. 

Cancellation notices have been shared on DTMB's website, as well as on DTMB's social media platforms. In addition, signage alerting the public to the cancellation has been posted at 3111 W. St. Joseph St. Building 600 in Lansing, the site of all in-person state surplus sales. 

Please note: MiBid, the state's online auction site, is available throughout this time. Learn more about MiBid online at michigan.gov/surplus.

The next in-person state surplus sale is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon, Friday, June 5. The sale will be held in Lansing at 3111 W. St. Joseph St., Building 600. Sales include a wide array of items, such as sporting goods, tools, automotive equipment, office furniture, jewelry, and other fashion accessories. Payments can be made with cash or credit cards. All items are sold as is, and all sales are final.
