Explore genealogy May 10-11 at Barbara J. Brown Family History Seminar

Are there empty leaves on the branches of your family tree that you'd like to fill in? Or perhaps you're an experienced genealogist eager for dedicated time and resources to take a deeper dive into your passion project?

The Barbara J. Brown Family History Seminar, offered May 10-11, is a perfect opportunity to explore family history and learn genealogy research skills. The hybrid event will be offered in downtown Lansing at the Michigan History Center and online via Zoom. 

The seminar will include a series of informational sessions, a talk by featured speaker Ari Wilkins, and optional extended hours at the reading room at the Archives of Michigan. Registration is $55 and includes breakfast and lunch for onsite attendees. 

The event is made possible by the Archives of Michigan and the Michigan Genealogical Council with support from the Abrams Foundation.
