2025 Michigan Cyber Summit to be held Oct. 23

LANSING, Mich. – The 2025 Michigan Cyber Summit will be held Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich. Michigan is recognized as a national leader in cybersecurity, and the summit serves as an annual platform for regional, national, and international thought leadership.

The 14th annual Michigan Cyber Summit will bring together experts from across the country to discuss the latest cybersecurity trends impacting education, business, information technology, economic development, law enforcement, and personal safety. The event is open to the public and will feature information for business professionals, educators, law enforcement, and government officials. The agenda will feature internationally recognized keynote speakers and panelists, as well as experts from across the country, to lead breakout sessions on a variety of industry topics.

Tickets for the 2025 Michigan Cyber Summit are available now and can be purchased on the summit’s official website. The cost is $95 for attendees, $80 for local government and nonprofit employees, and $50 for college students. The event includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and light snacks throughout the day. 

On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB) will host the third annual High School Cyber Summit at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. This event will bring together high school students from across the state to take part in a half-day agenda created to educate them on cybersecurity trends and best practices. The High School Cyber Summit will showcase a variety of career opportunities available in cybersecurity and outline the path to land those jobs.

New this year, schools will have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to assist with event registration and transportation costs. These funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Schools can request more information on scholarship opportunities by visiting the registration page.
