Moe Imaz

Moe Imaz joined the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) in October 2010. Prior to that, Moe spent 15 years in hospitality management.

Moe started with the UIA as a Limited Term Claim Examiner and has since filled many roles including training new staff, adjudication of contested claims, and a lead worker providing superb customer service to Michigan residents. Moe also was a working-out-of-class manager during the pandemic, guiding his team and helping Michiganders.

Moe is highly capable of making partnerships with a diverse population group. Based on his background and life experiences, he strongly believes we all do not come from the same starting place and barriers must be recognized and adjustments must be made to remove them.

In his spare time, Moe enjoys yard work, watching sports and spending quality time with his family.

Moe will work with the residents of Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties.
