Reliable Rides Incentive Grant Pilot Program Request for Proposals (RFP)
The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity is launching a pilot incentive grant program to support employers in addressing workforce transportation challenges. This initiative encourages employers to utilize the Reliable Rides playbook to develop and implement actionable transportation models that improve employee retention, productivity and access to work. A total of $260,000 in funding will be available through this pilot program.
Application deadline: Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, February 9, 2026.
State Apprenticeship Expansion (SAE) 2026 Request for Proposals (RFP)
SAE 2026 will prioritize already approved USDOL RAPs and address talent shortages in critical non-infrastructure occupations. Priority will be given to proposals that serve critical in-demand industries, specifically the following industry sectors, Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Educational Services, Health and Human Services, and Information Technology.
Successful respondents will already sponsor or partner with current sponsors of USDOL RAPs, register a substantial number of RAs, confirm prior SAE grant program success, have a strong performance record, and have experience entering participant data into AP in One-Stop Management Information System (OSMIS).
