Skills in Sync Partnership Pilot Grants
Request for Proposals (RFP)
LEO's MI Auto Workforce Hub is launching a Skills in Sync pilot program to field-test successful partnerships between K-12 and manufacturing. The intent of the grant is to expand manufacturing partnerships beyond existing 11th and 12th grade Career and Technical Education (CTE) or advisory board requirements and build deeper engagement aligned with the Michigan Career Development Model. The regional pilots will inform a public resource (playbook) that helps communities replicate and scale effective K‑12 manufacturing partnerships statewide. Ultimately, this work aims to improve student outcomes by increasing awareness, access, and readiness for high‑quality career pathways.
