MRS for Business
Business Network Division
The Business Network Division (BND) supports Michigan Rehabilitation Services in serving the client customer and the business customer throughout the state. Comprised of Business Relations Consultants, Rehabilitation Specialists and Occupational Therapists who are subject matter experts, BND facilitates the dual customer approach to vocational rehabilitation.
Service Providers
The Business Network Division is composed of two units: the Business Services Unit and the Disability Management Unit.
Business Services Unit
The Business Services Unit is comprised of Business Relations Consultants (BRCs) who serve businesses within specific geographic areas known as Prosperity Regions. These experienced vocational rehabilitation counselors specialize in supporting businesses by helping them meet their need for qualified talent, identifying barriers, setting up accommodations and providing consultation and education to the business based on their unique needs. The business services consultants map identifies the consultant for each region in the state, along with their contact information.
Disability Management Unit
The Disability Management Unit is comprised of Rehabilitation Specialists and Occupational Therapists who provide assessments, recommend accommodations and consult with businesses and counselors on behalf of the client customers throughout the state. These may include assessment of Worksite and Task Chair, Assistive Technology, Transferable Skills, Labor Market, ADA Accessibility, and educational accommodations. Training is provided to clients and businesses to support a diverse workforce.
