How the UIA is Fighting Fraud
How is the UIA fighting fraud?
The UIA is committed to fighting fraud through various anti-fraud protections that detect irregularities and suspicious patterns.
By monitoring claims filed in MiWAM, utilizing a Fraud Manager program to analyze claims at filing and certification, adopting new ethics and security clearance policy for employees/contractors and creating the Legal and Compliance Bureau, the UIA is fighting fraud at all levels.
