Limited English Proficiency Plan

Residents of the state of Michigan must be able to navigate their daily lives, and EGLE is committed to removing language as a barrier to meeting citizens' vital needs. The EGLE Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Plan establishes department-wide guidance to help promote equity and Environmental Justice by providing meaningful access to programs and services for people who do not speak English as their primary language and/or who have a limited ability to read, speak, write, or understand English.

If you have any questions about any of EGLE's nondiscrimination programs, policies, or procedures or if you believe that you have been discriminated against with respect to an EGLE program or activity, you may contact us.
