Previously known as the U.P. Materials Management Forum, the event has morphed into a state-wide session now known as the Michigan Materials Management Conference.

In December 2022, Governor Whitmer signed an eight-bill package modernizing Michigan’s solid waste law. This conference is an opportunity to learn about what the changes in the law mean for your organization and how they benefit everyone across Michigan.

The goal of the event is to foster compliance and economic development, establish sustainable materials management practices, and promote efforts to meet our MI Healthy Climate Plan goals.
