Laws and Rules

See the environmental requirements EGLE is responsible for administering through both state and federal statutes, also called acts, and administrative rules.

Legislative Reports

As required under state law and annual budget legislation, EGLE generates a variety of reports each year on the state’s air quality, drinking water, environmental cleanups, inland lakes and streams, wetlands, medical waste, solid waste, scrap tires, etc.

Lobbyable Public Officials

Lobbyable Public Officials are defined in the Michigan Lobby Registration Act and are essentially persons who may use personal discretion in deciding whether or not to engage in some type of legislative or administrative action.
