Program description

MCTI’s Electronics program provides hands-on/skilled based learning with an online interactive multimedia curriculum to teach electronics industry and manufacturing. Skill standard electronic courses help prepare students for entry-level positions in manufacturing production and assembly, machine maintenance and technicians and that lead into apprentice skilled trades.

Depending on skills, ability, & interests, students can participate up to 5 terms.

Job outlook

Job opportunities increase after completion of training. Starting pay may range from the current minimum wage to a higher amount depending on the location of the job.

Requirements

Students who most closely match the U.S. Department of Labor occupational profile for an Electronics Service Technician are accepted for enrollment.
