MTI Level One and Two Elective Construction Course
Course Description:
This course will provide an overview of MIOSHA Part 9, Excavation, Trenching, and Shoring. This course will include a description of the hazards in and around an excavation, a discussion on the duties and role of the qualified person, a discussion on soil classification and testing, and an overview of the protective systems used to support and protect employees in an excavation. This course is an elective for the MTI construction compliance tract. As an elective for the MTI program, there will be a review and assessment at the end of the course.
