MRS values its working relationships with existing State of Michigan vendors. The following page includes resources and forms for existing State of Michigan vendors working with MRS (e.g. MRS fee schedule, and MRS referral for job placement form).

In 2017, the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) conducted a review and on-site monitoring of the Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) program as authorized under Title I of the Rehabilitation Act. As a result of that review, one major finding was identified related to the reasonableness of rates of payment for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services. MRS partnered with Public Consulting Group, Inc (PCG) to assist in meeting federal cost principles requiring that costs be allowable, reasonable, and allocable to the program.

What follows is an interim vendor policy that addresses some of the mandates we must meet in order to expend federal dollars on VR services. These directives could impact whether or not MRS agrees to work with you. Please keep in mind that each of our thirteen (13) districts serve customers with unique needs. We trust our management team to decide which vendors to utilize for the provision of VR services in their local communities.
