Exam Applications and Study Guides

We are all being affected by the coronavirus outbreak.  To that end, EGLE is taking the following action regarding the upcoming drinking water operator exams.

** The May 6, 2020 exam has been rescheduled **

** The new exam date is July 23, 2020 **

NOTE: We are not accepting new application(s) for the July Exam.

Operators who were approved for the May 6, 2020 exam will have the following options:

  1. Take the exam on July 23, 2020
  2. Take the fall exam scheduled for November 4, 2020
  3. Get a full refund

A survey was sent to approved applicants regarding available options.

We appreciate your understanding as we manage these unusual events.

The U.S. Postal Service postmark or a postmark from an independent delivery service (U.P.S., Federal Express) will be used to verify that the application has met the deadline for submission.  Postmarks by private meter stamps (such as Pitney Bowes) cannot be used as proof of meeting the deadline.

All of the classifications and criteria are explained in the rules and statutes of the Safe Drinking Water Act 399.
