Landfill, Transfer Station, and Processing Plant Construction Permits Under Review
Landfill, Transfer Station, and Processing Plant Construction Permits Under Review
Waste transfer stations and processing plants serve as links between communities, materials management programs/solid waste collection programs, and final waste disposal facilities. Sizes and services offered by transfer stations and processing plants vary significantly, but they all serve the same basic purpose—consolidating waste/processing waste. When there is a need for a new facility, there is permitting process that needs to be followed. This page is part of that process. It gives the public access to the permit applications for those sites during the public comment period part of the permitting process. Landfill permits for review by the public will also be located here for consistency with the permitting process.
