New interactive dashboard highlights EGLE's Fuel Transformation Program

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy’s(EGLE) Materials Management Division has launched a mapping tool for its Fuel Transformation Program. Projects in this program mitigate diesel emissions by the replacement of qualifying diesel vehicles, vessels, and equipment with new, cleaner versions that improve air quality, support climate change mitigation, and help increase the adoption of alternate fuel or zero emission technology.

The interactive map in the dashboard can be used to click a project’s location and view its description, including expected emission reductions of greenhouse gases (CO2e), oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5). This data is also available in table format or to download in various formats on EGLE’s Maps and Open Data Portal.

Additionally, this tool features a dashboard of information, such as a current snapshot of cumulative program emission reductions and a unique list of zero emission projects that include all-electric vehicles.

This dashboard will continue to be updated as new projects are selected for funding. For more information about this program and upcoming requests for proposals please visit our FTP website.
