Technical Assistance for USDA REAP Grants
Free technical assistance is available to help agricultural and rural small businesses apply to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)'s Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).
This technical assistance is being targeted toward participants that meet the following criteria:
1. distressed or disadvantaged agricultural and rural small businesses,2. farms and rural businesses interested in implementation of underutilized technologies, or
3. farms and businesses looking to install projects with grant requests of less than $20,000
Participants only need to meet one of the three criteria to qualify. Participants can receive help with all of the steps of the REAP grant application process, including learning about REAP, registering their business in SAM.gov, receiving a free energy audit, assessment, and/or feasibility study, grant writing services, application submittal, and post-project reporting to USDA.
