MTI Level Two Elective Course (Compliance Track - General Industry)
This course is designed to provide Michigan employers with a basic understanding of the requirements they will need to meet in order to protect their employees and eliminate laser safety and health hazards. This class will review the safety and health hazards commonly associated with industrial laser applications and usage, classifications, nominal hazard zones, laser officer responsibilities, training and guarding, MIOSHA compliance requirements, and other applicable consensus standards.
The meeting site and parking are accessible. Individuals attending the meeting are requested to refrain from using heavily scented personal care products, in order to enhance accessibility for everyone.
