How can I update my payment method?
Update Your Unemployment Payment Method Online (Quickest method)
- Log in to your MiWAM account.
- Username.
- Password.
- If prompted, go through the authentication steps.
- Go to the Claim.
- Find the claimant services tab.
- Click Modify Benefit Payment method.
- Choose Bank card from US Bank.
- Read and acknowledge the Debit Card Disclosures.
- Choose direct deposit.
- Select if it is a checking or saving account.
- Enter your routing number twice.
- Enter your account number twice.
- Choose Bank card from US Bank.
Update Your Unemployment Payment Method by Phone
- Call 1-866-500-0017.
- Press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish.
- Press 9 to skip the MiLogin Link.
- Press 2 when prompted to update your payment method.
- When prompted enter.
- Your Social Security number.
- Your date of birth.
- Confirm your address.
- Choose US Bank card or direct deposit.
- Press 1, for the US Bank card.
- Press 2 for direct deposit.
- Select if it is a checking or savings account.
- Enter your routing number.
- Enter your account number.
If you are having issues with the US Bank card (Reliacard), please reach out to their Unemployment Card line at 1-866-335-1890.
- Log in to your MiWAM account.

How long does it take for payment?
Once you have certified for benefits online or by phone, your benefits payment should be available via your chosen payment method within 2 to 3 business days. Check your MiWAM account for the status of your payment. U.S. Bank handles all questions related to the ReliaCard. Visit usbankreliacard.com.

How will I be paid?
The preferred way is by direct deposit to your bank or credit union account. You may also choose to receive benefits by UIA debit card.

How will I receive my payments?
Payments are issued by either a UI issued debit card from U.S. Bank or direct deposit to your financial institution of choice. To set-up direct deposit you will need to visit your MiWAM account and data enter your direct deposit information under the Claimant Services tab or call 1-866-500-0017 and select the payment option. You will need to have your routing number and your account number.

I lost my debit card and need a new one?
You will need to contact U.S. Bank to order a replacement card through their automated system. Call 866-335-1890.
