Curriculum & Standards

Like adults at work, students at school have difficulty being successful if they are depressed, tired, not engaging in enough physical activity, bullied, stressed, sick, using alcohol or other drugs, undernourished, or abused. Research shows that effective health and physical education helps students increase their knowledge and improve their health skills and behaviors. Helping them to become healthy throughout their life and providing them with the knowledge and skills to become effective in setting and achieving goals, solving problem, and making healthy decisions.
