Summer Youth Employment Training

The Summer Youth Employment Training program is open to students with disabilities located in Ingham, Shiawassee, and Genesee counties.

Students will:

Engage in Job Exploration, Workplace Readiness Training and Work-Based Learning Experiences
Participate in interest based and vocational assessment
Participate in pre-employment workshops to increase their knowledge and comfort level regarding entering the world of work
Participate in a paid work experience
Earn wages while working and learning in their local community

Dates: Choose one of two offered sessions:

• Session 1: June - July
• Session 2: July - August
