An MRS presentation on the educational requirements, expertise and benefits provided by working with Audiologists. Dr. Kelli Bogue of the Community Hearing Center in Jackson, MI joined MRS to inform the audience of the importance of evidenced-based care versus patients attempting to treat their own hearing loss, and the potential ramifications of not being medically evaluated. Additional discussion topics include new technological options in hearing care and strategies for helping patients with the use of hearing devices.

Tina Jurries is a Program Manager for the Student Advocacy Center. Tina has lived the foster care experience and assisted many students in overcoming barriers to achieve their high school diploma. Tina serves on the federal review team for JBS International and the Children’s Bureau for National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD). 


Jennifer Sczykutowicz is a Foster Care Program Manager with Jackson County Michigan Department of Health & Human Services. With over 21 years of experience in Foster Care in multiple counties, Jennifer has helped hundreds of foster care youth make the transition from the foster care system to supporting themselves.
