Serving her second term as a Member of the State Board of Education, Nikki is an Eastern Michigan University graduate serving first as a Registered Nurse and then as a Nurse Educator at Washtenaw Community College. Nikki was born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and is a mother of three children in the traditional public school system. She also comes with experience as a disability advocate.
