How can I delete or correct information once it's entered?
If you are still on the same page, click the “Edit” button next to the debtor, secured party or assignee’s name in the table. Your previously entered information in the name and address fields will appear and you may make any changes necessary. Click the “Save” button when you are done.
If you have entered a party in error, click the “Delete” button to remove the party’s information.
If you are on the Review screen, click the “Edit” button next to the section where the error was made. For example, if a debtor’s name was entered incorrectly, click the “Edit Debtor Info” button to return to the Debtor screen and make your corrections as explained above.
If you did not find the information you need, enter a descriptive word or phrase in the Search field located in the upper right corner. Or send us an e-mail by clicking on “Contact the Secretary of State” also in the upper right corner and we will help you get the information you need.
