To check the status of your job application, visit GovernmentJobs.com and sign in to your account. From your profile, select the Applications tab and find the application you want to know the status of. There will be a status update in bold, such as “Application received” or “Selection process completed”.
If the application status does not update within 3-4 weeks after the closing date of the posting, you can call the Quality of Life Human Resources number at 517-284-5014.

If you are selected for an interview, you should hear back within a few weeks after the closing date listed on the job posting. Because of the high number of applicants we get for every posting, If you were screened out and not selected for an interview, you may not hear for weeks or months until the position is closed – if you hear back at all.

We work with talented and innovative undergraduate and graduate college students. Through our paid internships and student assistant positions, student will gain experience and knowledge of how to protect Michigan's environment and public health.
Work may be a hybrid experience to be accomplished virtually, physically in an office, and or field setting. Students are expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, but no more than 29 hours per week. EGLE's internship program is a 15 week experience, offered during the summer only.
Our programs and projects give students career development experience and, in some instances, the ability to earn academic credits -
