The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy's (EGLE) MiEnviro Portal is an online system for accessing and managing environmental information, permits, and regulatory data.

It allows users to submit applications, track permits, and view environmental records in one convenient location.

This free webinar series is designed to engage and inform Michigan residents on the environmental data and information at their fingertips.

What is it and how to use it

This session is an overview of MiEnviro Portal—one of Michigan’s online databases for environmental data. In this first installment of our training series, we’ll walk through:

  • What MiEnviro Portal is and its purpose
  • What types of information you can (and can’t) find in the portal
  • How to find and access MiEnviro online
  • Basic navigation tips to help you get started

This session is perfect for community members, property owners, residents, and anyone interested in learning about Michigan's database for finding air and water information. Future sessions will dive deeper into specific features and tools within the portal.

Submitting complaints and reporting environmental concerns

In this second session of our MiEnviro Portal training series, we’ll focus on how to submit complaints and report environmental concerns through the system. You’ll learn:

  • What types of complaints should be submitted through MiEnviro and what types should be reported through a different process.
  • Step-by-step guidance on entering complaint details into the portal.
  • What happens after a complaint is submitted: how it’s received, reviewed, and acted upon by the agency.

This session is designed to help you use MiEnviro effectively when submitting an environmental concern.

Finding Beach Water Quality information in Beachguard
