Air quality monitoring network
Michigan's air quality monitoring network helps make sure the air people breathe is healthy and that the state meets the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The network includes more than 100 air monitors at over 40 locations across Michigan.
The monitors measure the amount of pollution in outdoor (ambient) air—the air people breathe where they live, work, and play.
