An overview of the proposed Part 41 Sewerage Systems rule changes
EGLE is charged with administering the Public Sewerage System program governed under Part 41, Sewerage Systems, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, which includes ensuring that that plans and specifications, construction, and operation of wastewater facilities are acceptable and ensure wastewater facilities protect the public health and the environment. This webinar will provide an overview of the proposed changes to the Part 41 Sewerage System rules, including collection system and retention treatment basin facility classification and operator certification requirements. Staff will discuss the rulemaking process thus far and will educate listeners on what is stated in the proposed rule language.
