Mission Statement: To support and enhance Michigan's homeland security, community health, public safety, and an all hazard preparedness with responsible leadership and planning. To reduce, prevent, and prepare for emergencies or disasters.

The MCCERCC was created by Executive Order 2007-18 , signed by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm.

Meeting Schedule 

Unless otherwise noted, the Council will hold its regular meetings at the Michigan State Police Headquarters, 7150 Harris Drive, Dimondale, Michigan on the following dates from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Public Act 254 of 2020, signed by Governor Whitmer on December 22, 2020 permits a public body to hold a meeting, in whole or in part, electronically by telephonic or video conferencing until March 31, 2021 and remain in compliance with Michigan’s Open Meetings Act.  


NOTE Individuals who need mobility, visual, hearing, written, or other assistance for effective participation may contact the Michigan State Police, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator, Ms. Tracy Federighe, at federighet@michigan.gov or 517-284-3178 at least four (4) business days prior to scheduled meetings.  Requests after that time cannot be guaranteed, but efforts will be made to provide the accommodation.
