Motor Carrier Advisory Board

The purpose of the Motor Carrier Advisory Board (MCAB) is to facilitate a continuing and meaningful exchange between the transportation industry, consumers, the Michigan State Police (MSP), and other state agencies. The board consists of 15 members comprising representatives of the transportation industry and the shipping public. Board members are appointed by the MSP and the term of office is 12 calendar months, commencing in January of each year. The board meets bi-monthly (except in the month of July), or at the call of the chairperson of the board.
