About the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division

The Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division (MSP/EMHSD) provides for planning, mitigation, response and recovery from natural and human-made disasters within and outside the state of Michigan under the authority of the Michigan Emergency Management Act.
