Rule 15. (1) An employer shall obtain, and furnish an employee with, a copy of the attending physician’s written opinion following each examination or consultation required pursuant to the provisions of R 325.52113.

The OSHA requirements for the physical examinations for the Methamphetamine training are as follows:

  • Basic physical examination (to include vitals, urinalysis, hearing, vision, and physician examination)
  • Pulmonary function test
  • Lab CBC
  • Lab Comp Metabolic screen

Yearly physical certifications are the responsibility of each clan lab responder to schedule and are to be done through your department’s work health provider.

The cost for the yearly physical is the responsibility of your employer. Local officers assigned to MSP led MJTF’s at the time of their clan lab physical are allowed to bill MSP for the cost. Please advise the staff to either bill your agency or forward the invoice to the MSP Clandestine Lab Unit accordingly.
