Issuance of Hazardous Waste Management Facility Operating License Renewal License for Petro-Chem Processing Group of Nortru, LLC
 
On December 18, 2012, the former Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Waste Management and Radiological Protection (OWMRP), now the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Materials Management Division (MMD) issued the hazardous waste management facility renewal operating license to Petro-Chem Processing Group of Nortru, LLC (Petro-Chem) for its facility located at 421 Lycaste Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, pursuant to Part 111, Hazardous Waste Management, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended. The License allows continued operation of Petro-Chem's hazardous waste container and tank storage and fuel blending activities and requires corrective actions for legacy contamination released to soils and groundwater.
